Hassleblad has just announced the new H1D digital camera which will contain 22 megapixels in a 37mm x 49mm sensor. Image storage will not be done via cf cards, micro drives etc., but rather by a 40gb Image bank (a hard drive I assume), or if you’re in the studio, directly to a computer. The H1D is capable of producing 132mb files in 16 bit RGB - yes, that’s one photo.
Makes my Nikon D70 look like a webcam.
