The FinePix A350 is the flagship model for Fujifilm’s A series of inexpensive point-and-snap cameras. Its 5.2-megapixel resolution marks an increase over the 4 megapixels of its predecessor, the A340, and this camera slightly bumps up the LCD size from 1.5 inches to 1.7 inches. It also eliminates the need for a lens cap by incorporating a self-closing cover for its retractable lens. Other A350 features include a 3X optical zoom, a macro mode, and a continuous-snapping mode. Fujifilm often goes its own way in the physical design, menu structure, and image characteristics of its cameras.
Fujifilm FinePix A350
CNET have reviewed the Fujifilm FinePix A350 and seem to like it yet only rate it a 5.5 out of 10. I quote-
“When it came to photo quality, we found an especially wide gulf between what we liked and disliked about the Fujifilm FinePix A350. On the plus side, many of the photos exhibited a broader dynamic range than we’re used to seeing from inexpensive point-and-snap cameras. The colors were richly saturated, but they didn’t appear unnatural and generally had a vibrant and tactile quality that should transfer well to prints. Dark hues were often unusually lifelike.”

This camera is tiny and gives great pictures and all features you would find on these camera size. Pictures are very clear and sharp. It is very complete. If you are looking for a pocket camera, this is the one. Don’t wait for a fast shutter on this kind of camera. This one a winner compared to Olympus D-535, Canon A400 or canon 510.
