It saddens me so, the horrific events in New Orleans. Just like the events in the Tsunami struck regions of very recent memory, we are again glued to our TV sets watching the tragic human catastrophe unfold in a southern region of the U.S.

I feel helpless that all I can reasonably do is donate money. But that is what I will do. The people that can really help are much closer to the scene than I am in here in Canada.

I know, and I sense, that there are people in New Orleans and surrounding area praying for help. And I am hearing their prayers. And I am compelled as author of this website to say something. There are people that need me, and that need you. I know I must help. My wife and I are donating through our respective employers who, have graciously matched pledged donations.

Please take a moment, a few seconds of your day, and make a contribution, so matter how small, to these poor folk. There are Red Cross banners on this page for this purpose.

I believe we can only keep our humanity by reaching out, when we are needed most, to our fellow man. This is what makes us different from the beasts.

Please… help.

Thank-you.
