Coolpix 7900 Firmware Update 1.2

This service provides software for upgrading COOLPIX 7900 firmware version 1.1 to version 1.2. If the firmware installed in your camera is already version 1.2, this upgrade is not necessary. Be sure to read the section, Issues addressed with firmware version 1.2, before upgrading the firmware.

Issues addressed with firmware version 1.2

  • A phenomenon that caused the recording of pictures, taken with any option other than Off selected for Date imprint, to take a considerable amount of time has been corrected.
  • Errors in Korean menus have been corrected.
  • Errors in Spanish, French, and Italian text have been corrected.
