Sept 7th, 2005. Canon Canada Inc. and Canon USA have today lowered the manufacturer’s recommended retail price (MSRP) on the Canon EOS 20D. The price has also come down on the Canon Digital Rebel XT digital SLR in Canada.

Canon Canada has reduced the MSRP on the Canon EOS 20D by $100 CAN. The new Canadian MSRP on the Canon EOS 20D digital SLR body only and in kit form are:
Canon EOS 20D 8.2MP Digital SLR Camera (Body Only)
*$1749 CAN for the Canon EOS 20D body only
*$1899 CAN for the Canon EOS 20D with the EF-S 18-55mm zoom lens
*$2449 CAN for the Canon EOS 20D with the Canon EF-S 17-85mm F4-5.6 IS USM zoom lens

The new MSRP from Canon USA on the Canon EOS 20D digital SLR body only and in kit form are:

*$1349 US for the Canon EOS 20D body only
*$1449 US for the Canon EOS 20D with the EF-S 18-55mm zoom lens
*$1999 US for the Canon EOS 20D with the Canon EF-S 17-85mm F4-5.6 IS USM zoom lens
