Kodak EasyShare P880 Review

The EasyShare P880 is currently at the top of the pyramid for Kodak’s new EASYSHARE P-Series of advanced digital cameras. The Easyshare P880 Zoom is an affordable, high performance camera for serious photographers. It incorporates a 24-140mm (35mm equiv) wide-angle, Schneider-KREUZNACH VARIOGON zoom lens with a high resolution 8-megapixel imager for very large, professional-quality prints.

Steves Digicams have just posted their Kodak EasyShare P880 User Review and summarize by saying-

“With 8-megapixels of resolution and an excellent lens with a versatile zoom range, the EasyShare P880 promises a lot to the advanced user. While its image quality largely fulfills that promise, the snapping performance does not. A camera advertised as a member of Kodak’s “Performance Series” should be capable of capturing more than 1.25 images per second, and should clear 7 images from its buffer in much less than 26 seconds; the P880’s snapping performance is disappointing.”
