With Konica-Minolta gone can Pentax be far behind? So we’re left with Canon, Nikon, Sony and Olympus. Or perhaps Olympus is the next to drop.
Canon is steamrolling through the industry with the best organization, marketing, r+d, and product cycle. Can anyone compete?
Nikon, Pentax, and Minolta were all beholden to Sony for sensors. No one can keep up with Canon and their in-house design/production.
I mean how many cameras are using that same tired 6mp Sony sensor? All three are still rolling out new cameras with that same old sensor. Meanwhile Canon keeps upping the ante, and cutting prices.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackPentax has gotten hurt in the digicam market but is profitable in DSLR’s. They are also releasing quite a few new lenses. There are going to be a few new DSLR’s including a pro APS C model and the 645D. Things are looking up for them.
