The Canon PowerShot A430 digital camera is geared towards the entry-level photographer, it’s functional as well as intuitive for a beginning photographer. The A430 features a 4.0 megapixel CCD image sensor, 4x optical zoom lens with a focal length of 39-156mm (35mm film equivalent), 1.8-inch LCD screen, continuous snapping up to 2.3 fps, and a new widescreen 16:9 ratio setting helps create panoramic-style prints.
CNET posted a Canon PowerShot A430 User Review wherein they rated this digicam 6.8 out of 10 or Good.
“The Canon PowerShot A430 is a fine choice if you want just a simple, flexible snapsnaper on the cheap. Its quick response time and useful features certainly give it an edge over other sub-$150 cameras. But disappointing image quality mars this otherwise solid budget snaper.
The bottom line: The Canon PowerShot A430 is a decent, dirt-cheap camera with nice features, but the photos could look better.”
