The latest Canon PowerShot A540 digital camera Review we’ve featured here comes from Pocket-lint.co.uk, who rated this camera 8 out of 10. They went on to say-
“The Canon PowerShot A540 provides plenty of meat for those wishing to buy and use an easy to operate camera but still want room to grow, as they get better at taking their snaps. So, whether you’re simply snapping or taking more studied shots, the 540 is a nice, reliable digital compact and while it may not hold the pinnacle of performance (that’s still Fuji’s crown at the moment) in terms of noise control, it is more than capable of producing some very nice images indeed. In short, it is worth a look.”
The PowerShot A540 features six-megapixels of resolution together with a retractable 4x optical zoom lens with a focal length of 35-140mm (35mm equivalent) , and incorporates 22 snapping modes from fully automatic to fully manual to achieve optimum results for any photographic application. The A540 is also compatible with optional wide angle and telephoto lens converters, as well as a close-up lens and a wireless flash unit.
