The 6.3 MegaPixel FinePix F30 is the world’s first point-and-snap digital camera for consumers with full-resolution ISO equivalency speeds as high as 3200 – a setting previously reserved for advanced consumer and professional digital camera models. Higher light sensitivities allow the FinePix F30 to snap with faster shutter speeds, which lessen the likelihood of blurry pictures caused by ever-active children, fidgety pets, dim ambient light or camera movement due to an unsteady hand.

CNET just reviewed the F30 and rated it 7.4 out of 10 or Very Good.

“If you’re looking for a solid all-around camera that’s good for low light, the Fujifilm FinePix F30 won’t disappoint. Sure, it doesn’t include optical image stabilization, but if you’re snapping pictures–even of a slowly moving subject, such as a group of friends standing around talking–optical image stabilization won’t be as useful as the low-noise high-ISO settings included in this camera.

The bottom line: Low-light snapers will love that the Fujifilm FinePix F30’s screen actually lets you see through the darkness and that its high ISOs produce usable photos with acceptable levels of noise.”
