The Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ5, as with all Panasonic cameras, offers the company’s MEGA O.I.S optical image stabilization system for shake-free photos. The DMC LZ5 improves on the previous DMC LZ2 and LZ1 models with a larger LCD screen, High Angle mode that brightens the LCD when held overhead, faster 1-point auto-focus system and a new High Sensitivity mode with a fastest ISO speed of ISO 1600.
Cameras.co.uk gives us their DMC-LZ5 review and had this to say of this model from Panasonic-
“The Panasonic DMC LZ5 offers something different to many digital cameras. It is an easy to use, point and snap camera, but with a longer (6x) than standard optical zoom lens. Picture quality is good and the camera has optical image stabilisation. Well worth checking out.

I enjoyed reviewing the Panasonic DMC LZ5. It seems to me to be a well thought out digital camera. It takes good pictures, is easy to use, offers extra zoom and also has image stabilisation. It is well priced and is worthy of close consideration.”
