The 6.3 MegaPixel FinePix F30 is not your average compact digicam.  The F30 is quickly attained cult status with the quality it provides, with full-resolution ISO equivalency speeds as high as 3200 – a setting previously reserved for advanced consumer and professional digital camera models. Higher light sensitivities allow the FinePix F30 to snap with faster shutter speeds, which lessen the likelihood of blurry pictures caused by ever-active children, fidgety pets, dim ambient light or camera movement due to an unsteady hand. LetsGoDigital has now posted their Fujifilm Finepix F30 Digital Camera Review and had these comments-

“Fujifilm surprised both friend and foe when they first launched a digital compact camera with a sensitivity range up to ISO 1600. It has now gone even further with the Fujifilm FinePix F30 camera. The sensitivity range runs to ISO 3200 and thanks to the Real Photo Processor the photos are relatively free of noise. This is a remarkable achievement which has certainly given Fujifilm’s competitors food for thought. Fujifilm took the first step years ago with the Super CCD, which was greeted with criticism before it became clear that the concept was well thought out. In fact it was so well thought out that we are now welcoming the sixth generation of this sensor in the Fujifilm FinePix F30 camera.”

I have heard many good things about this digicam from all the major review sites. This model actually stands apart from the crowd, and sounds like a clear winner from Fuji. This one gets my on my Recommended Christmas gift this year.

Pocket-lint just added-
“The F30 won TIPA’s Best Compact Digital Camera in Europe award and on this performance I can see why. Neat handling, design and specification further enhance a World first in terms of that high ISO capability. Yes, there are a couple of omissions; no RAW capture and the lack of a histogram display for example. But…

The Fuji FinePix F30 is then a camera with great flexibility. But that alone does not do it justice. At its £279.99 price, it provides an almost perfect balance of control and automation, sensitivity without noise problems and image quality yet retaining pocketability that make it a real “stunna”, and you’ll be hard pressed to find better on the market today.”
