The Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 is Sony’s update to the W30 from last year. This model features 3x optical zoom capability, blur-reduction technology (ISO), and substantial internal memory for shooting without a media card. Its storage capacity can be expanded further with optional Memory Stick Duo or Memory Stick PRO Duo flash media card. Word on the street is that this camera has some significant improvements over the previous model.
CNET has done a full review of the W35 and rated it 7.2 out of 10 or Very Good. They reported-
"Images taken on the W35 were generally clear and pleasing. Despite the slight softening of some finer details, the photos were nice and crisp. Colors generally reproduced well, though users should remember to switch to the tungsten white balance when shooting indoors–our tungsten-lit test shots taken under automatic white balance were harsh and yellow.

For a budget camera, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W35 is a very good choice. With satisfying performance and good picture quality, this sub-$200 camera would fit well in the pocket of anyone looking for a reliable, inexpensive camera."
