As you may have heard, Amazon.com today announced the acquisition of Digital Photography Review. I congratulate Phil Askey on this deal — I know how hard he’s worked to make DPR that success that it is today. Let’s hope that Amazon keeps their hands off of it, and allows the site to continue being an independent voice in the digital camera community.
