Olympus has released an update to version 1.4 for its Studio and Viewer software.
This software revision adds support for the Olympus E-500 digital SLR and improves the image quality saved when processing the RAW data.
The update can be directly applied to all previous version of the software and that Macintosh users should have QuickTime 6 or higher must installed and that the E-300 firmware update feature is not supported in Mac OS X 10.1.x.or lower
